Alexander Horstmann

Alex came to AEC from TÜV SÜD, where he worked in technical supervision and registration for 15+ years, focusing on adapting imported vehicles to the specifications of foreign markets. As Director Homologation Services, he curates future business strategies within the import/export and homologation business and plays an integral part in building out AEC’s international Homologation Center. Alex’s heart beats for cars since he was a small child in the 1990s, and he drives classic cars with large volume engines from that time. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and discovering foreign countries by motorhome.
